Technology
Backed by 30 years of expertise across leading tech companies, aquaculture plastics production, and hands-on farming in some of the world’s toughest environments, our aim is to present technology that sets a new standard.
Our research shows that we can triple the lifespan of feed pipes. Together with our research and developement partners, we are developing a new and innovative ecosystem for handling feed pipes. The lowest hanging fruit here was the feed pipe racks wich we now have launched. Next up is out feed pipe scanning robot that will be ready by Q4.

First step launched
Our feed pipe racks are finally here. These keeps pipes organized on-site and contribute to minimizing both external and internal wear. Additionally, you can now plan the setup precisely, reducing the total length of pipes needed at the site. Reach out to us at +47 91332100 or salg@polyfemos.com for pricing and more information. Due to our patent pending process we will not be able to provide detailed information here yet.
By Q3 2026, we will launch our breakthrough technology for extending the lifespan of feed pipes. Developed in collaboration with SINTEF, this innovative solution for service and maintenance is designed to set a new industry standard — and we’re excited to bring it to you in just a few months.

About us
We combine aquaculture experience with engineering know-how to tackle one of the industry's invisible challenges: pipe wear and longevity. The Polyfemos method improve sustainability by reducing unnecessary feed pipe replacements.
Willy Johansen and his late brother Arnstein Johansen (2024), has been involved in the invention and production of feed pipes since the 1980's. In addition Willy Johansen has had at tech lead role in Grieg Seafood Finnmark the last decades. This have given the two brothers and their network, a uniqe base for understanding challenges and finding solutions for the aquaculture industry. Together they created the ideas of the Polyfemos method for feed pipe longevity starting in 2020.
Jens-Harald Jenssen joined the team in 2025, and an extensive amount of experience from building successful companies and tech knowledge over the last decades was added. Togehter with experience from building other tech solutions to the aquaculture industry his background gives the company an initial lineup ready for building an important player for making the indystry significantly more sustainable in the coming years.
The company's advisory board will be announced later on.
